NEET 2018 Counselling Dates/Schedule of Round-1/Round-2/Mop-Up Round

NEET Counselling 2018 dates, procedure and registration info has been released on 11th-June 2018 at mcc.nic.in. The online registration and filling-in of choices for admission to All India and State MBBS/BDS Admissions which will be started from 13th-June 2018 as the CBSE already announced NEET-UG 2018 Results / All India Rank list on 4th-June 2018.

NEET 2018 Counselling Schedule and Procedure for MBBS / BDS

There are mostly two rounds of counselling and one Mop-up round organized for NEET-UG MBBS / BDS admissions and seat allocation.

Find below the timeline for NEET 2018 round-1 / round-2 counselling, online registration and fee payment, choice filling / locking and processing of seat allotment:

NEET-2018 Counselling Round-1: Starts on 13-June 2018
* Online Registration || Choice Filling: 13-June (10 AM) to 18-June (5 PM) * Choice Locking (Round-1): 19-June 2018 (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
* Process of Seat Allotment (Round-1): 20-June to 21-June 2018 (2 Days) * Result: 22-June 2018 (1-Day) | * Reporting: 23-June to 3-July (11-Days)
NEET-2018 Counselling Round-2: Starts on 13-June 2018
* Online Registration & Choice Filling: 6-July to 8-July till 5:00 PM (3-Days) * Choice Locking (Round-2): 9-July 2018 (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
* Process of Seat Allotment (Round-2): 10-July to 11-July 2018 (2 Days) * Result: 12-July 2018 (1-Day) | * Reporting: 13-July to 22-July (10-Days)
* Transfer of Non-Reporting and Non-Joining vacant seats to State Quota (Before 12 Noon): 23-July 2018 [Only 15% All India Quota]
NEET-2018 Counselling Mop-Up Round: Starts on 10-August 2018
* Display of Seats Matrix for Mop-Up: 10-August to 11-August 2018 (2-Days)
* Online Registration & Choice Filling: 12-Aug. to 14-Aug till 5:00 PM (3-Days) * Choice Locking (Mop-Up Round): 15-August 2018 (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
* Process of Seat Allotment (Mop-Up Round): 16-August 2018 (1 Day) * Result: 17-Aug. 2018 (1-Day) | * Reporting: 18-Aug. to 26-Aug. (9-Days)
* Transfer of Non-Reporting and Non-Joining vacant seats to Deemed / Central Universities for Mop-Up: 27-August 2018

NEET Counselling 2018 Registration (15% All India Quota)

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India will conduct the Online Counselling for NEET-2018 to 15% All India Quota Seats, Deemed Universities, Central Universities Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU. Candidates may visit Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) website www.mcc.nic.in for further information.

NEET 2018 Counselling (Round-1) is going to start on 13th June. Online registration for NEET Counselling 2018 official link has not been actived yet. Once the NEET Counselling 2018 Registration link is activated, it will be placed here.

Also, students can find NEET 2018 Counselling seats matrix, check list for reporting centres and much more once published by MCC officially. Round-1 and Round-2 NEET Counselling 2018 done by MCC is only for 15% All India Quota. Rest of the 85% seats will be filled by State-level NEET Counselling done by various state medical bodies.



State-wise NEET Counselling 2018 Registration Dates and Schedule

For State quota and other seats falling under the ambit of States, candidates may apply to their domicile states and a merit list as per State rules and based on All India Rank will be prepared by concerned Counselling Authorities. The counselling for Private Medical Colleges will also be conducted by the concerned State Counselling Authority.

When candidates will apply to their state, they will mention their category as per Stare Category List. State Counselling Authorities will accordingly make their Merit List. The same is the case with the domicile. CBSE or MCC has no role in it.
