JEE-Advanced 2018 Result to be Declared at results.jeeadv.ac.in

The much awaited result of JEE (Advanced) has been declared by IIT Kanpur on 10th-June 2018 at 10 AM which had been conducted on 20-May 2018. About 2,31,024 students qualified for JEE-Advanced 2018 Exam but only 1,55,158 students have appeared in IIT JEE exam and waiting for the JEE Advanced 2018 Results.

Live Updates - JEE (Advanced) 2018 Result

- About 18,138 students have qualified in the JEE advanced 2018 exam.

- Pranav Goyal (337/360 Marks) from Panchkula, Roorkee zone got AIR-1 in JEE-Advanced 2018 Exam.

- Sahil Jain from Kota captured AIR-2 and Kalash Gupta from Delhi captured AIR-3.

- Student of Resonance, Kota Pawan Goyal from Jaipur grabbed AIR-4 in IIT-2018 Exam.

- Mavuri Siva Krishna Manohar both from IIT Madras Zone grabbed AIR-5.

- Meenal Parakh (318/360 Marks) from Delhi captured AIR-6 (Topper among Girls).

- There are 11,279 seats available on offer for 23 IITs across the country.

- JEE Mains topper Suraj Krishna secured AIR 49 in JEE-Advanced 2018 Exam.

- 800 extra seats have been created in 2018 for female candidates to improve the gender balance in the IITs.

- Out of 18,138 JEE-Advanced qualified candidates, 16,062 Boys and 2,076 Girls have passed in IIT-2018 Entrance exam.

- 26 students of Anand Kumarís Super 30 cleared JEE-Advanced 2018 Exam.

- Allen Career Institute's students Lay Jain and Neel Aryan captured AIR-9 and AIR-10 respectively in IIT JEE 2018 exam.

- IIT's Joint Admission Board (JAB) released extended merit list; now 31,980 candidates qualified in JEE-Advanced 2018. Only 18,138 students qualified JEE-Advanced on 10-June (Result-Day).

- For General: 8,794 (10-June) + 8,954 (extended list) = 17,748. For OBC: 3,140 (10-June) + 3,824 (extended list) = 6,964. For SC: 4,709 (10-June) + 771 (extended list) = 5,480. For ST: 1,495 (10-June) + 293 (extended list) = 1,788. Total: 18,138 (10-June) + 13,842 (extended list) = 31,980.

In 2017, Sarvesh Mehtani from Chandigarh was topped in the country and got AIR-1. Akshat Chugh from Pune was grabbed AIR-2 in the country. Ananye Agarwal from Delhi Ranked AIR-3.

Various Coaching Institutes Performance in 2017 JEE-Advanced Results

Allen: A total of 6,289 Allen students qualified in JEE-Advanced 2017 exam including Classroom and Distance learning programs. Out of top 10 rankers, 2 selections AIR-8, AIR-10 from Classroom programs and AIR-8 from DLP program grabbed by Allen students. A toatal of 9 Allen students came in top 25 rankers in JEE Advanced 2017 exam.

FIITJEE: A total of 5,674 students qualified in JEE-Advanced 2017 exam including Classroom (4,299 selections) and Distance learning programs. In top 10 AIRs, 1 selection from Classroom and 3 Selections from DLP Courses were captured by FIITJEE students. Also, 2 zonal toppers, 7 state toppers and 25 city toppers of JEE Advanced 2017 were from FIITJEE.

Aakash: A total of 2,411 students qualified in JEE-Advanced 2017 exam including Classroom (2,020 selections) and Distance learning (391) programs. No one selected out of top-50 rankers from Classroom courses while only 2 students selected from DLP courses. Out of top-100 rankers, 2 students from classroom and 3 from DLP were selected.

Various Coaching Institutes Performance in 2016 JEE-Advanced Results

Allen: A total of 3644 Allen students qualified in JEE-Advanced 2016 exam out of which 2741 students from Classroom programs and 903 students from Distance learning courses. Through classroom courses, 25 selections (included AIR-1, AIR-2, AIR-3 and AIR-9) have been done in top 100.

Aakash: A total of 1426 Aakashians qualified in JEE-Advanced 2016 exam out of which 1324 students from Classroom programs and 102 students from Distance learning courses. Through classroom courses, 3 selections (AIR-34, AIR-81 and AIR-93) have been done in top 100 from General category.

FIITJEE: A total of 4423 FIITJEE students qualified in JEE-Advanced 2016 exam out of which 3541 students from Classroom programs and 882 students from Distance learning courses. Also 11 students are State toppers and 22 students are City toppers. Through classroom courses, 36 selections (included AIR-6) have been done in top 100 from general category.
