NTA JEE Mains 2019 - Exam Syllabus and Pattern (Phase 1/Phase 2)

JEE Mains Exam is being conducted for B.E / B.Tech (Paper 1) and B.Arch / B.Planning (Paper 2). Below are the import points to be noted:

1. Type of Questions in Paper 1 / Paper 2: JEE Mains Question Paper 1 will comprise of objective type. In JEE Mains Question Paper 2, Mathematics and Aptitude Section will be of Objective type while drawing test will be subjective type.

2. Exam Mode and Duration: JEE Mains Phase-1 (January 2019) and Phase-2 (April 2019) Exams will be Online Mode (Cumputer Based) only. The JEE Mains exam duration will be 3 hours.

3. Exam Medium: JEE Mains question paper will be in English and Hindi languages across all cities except Gujarat, Daman & Diu, Dadra & Nagar Haveli where the question paper will be in Gujarati language too.

4. Marking Scheme and Negative Marking: 4 Marks will be awarded for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
